PRISM
 

INTRODUCTION

Prism is an infiltration game where the character has no camera. You play as 27 year old Adam Morales, a former employee of Prism Innovation, which specializes in cybersecurity. He finds himself sacked for disclosing sensitive data. Despite this, he has to return to the company to retrieve his hard drive containing vital information. Your aim will be to go through all seven floors in order to retrieve this information. Using your smartphone, the "NEO Z 2.1", you can hack into security cameras and webcams to find your way around the space. You can also hack into many objects along the way to create diversions.

Collaboration during the project

Since May 2023, I've been working with a developer friend on the exciting Prism project. This collaboration took shape simultaneously with my studies in Game Design, creating a unique synergy between academic theory and practical application.

MY ROLE

In this collaborative adventure, my role was to steer the Game Design part of the project. This encompassed the detailed design of the game's seven levels, where every detail was carefully thought out to offer players an immersive and captivating experience.

UI/UX & 3C

Holistic approach: My involvement also extended to the creation of the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX), ensuring that every visual and interactive element was intuitive and aesthetically coherent. Particular attention was also paid to the Controls (3C), aimed at balancing the gameplay to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.

 

THE PARALLEL

Integrating this project with my Game Design studies has been an enriching opportunity. The theoretical concepts learnt in class were directly applied to the design of Prism, creating a symbiosis between practice and academic knowledge.

NEXT STEP

Together, we are striving to realise a shared vision, aspiring to offer players a memorable gaming experience. Collaborating with my developer friend on Prism remains an exciting adventure, where creativity, technique and continuous learning intertwine to give life to a game that we hope will captivate fans of the video game world.
