LEVEL ART
This page contains my Level Art projects. In addition to video game projects where I was largely responsible for Level Design, I sometimes carried out short Level Design and Level Art projects in addition to my school projects.

The Dragon Way
In my Level Art/Level Design project, I created a mysterious and fantastical atmosphere on a dragon-shaped island fragment emerging in the ocean. Paths guide players to a majestic temple atop the island's peaks, their ultimate objective.
To reach the temple, adventurers pass through portals leading to floating islands adorned with magical circles. The scene is enhanced with a post-process that blends purple and pink hues, enriching the mystical ambiance.

A quiet village
In my Level Art/Level Design project, I aimed to create a mysterious atmosphere within a quiet village setting. In the foreground, an ordinary cemetery subtly reveals scattered bones and a rising skeleton. On the horizon, peaceful houses complete the scene.
I adjusted the post-process and ambient lights to enhance the mystery, altering the overall aesthetic of the project. Every detail, from the cemetery to the distant dwellings, was meticulously designed to immerse players in a tranquil yet enigmatic atmosphere.

Rune Viking Warlord
Concise Level Art / Level Design project, focused on the game Rune Viking Warlord. As an avid player of this game during my youth, I am convinced that it deserves a reinterpretation or remaster. To do this, I used a screenshot as a starting point, then set about breathing new life into it.
I mainly took advantage of packs available on Unreal Engine, which may have influenced the form slightly, but I made sure to modernize the aesthetic while respecting the emblematic spirit of the game.

Cyber Slum
Creation of a cyberpunk-style level, featuring a slum inspired by both reality and games such as Cyberpunk 2077 and Stray. The level is distinguished by its omnipresent purple hues, with flashes of pink light emanating from certain buildings to catch the eye.
In the background, the shantytown can be seen superimposed on modern structures, creating a striking contrast. The atmosphere is intensified by constant rain, adding a touch of realism and immersion to the whole.

Another Crab's Treasure : Underground cave
The level is set in an immersive underground cave, featuring a central arena designed for a Boss fight. Located at the heart of the cavern, this arena serves as the focal point of the level. The atmosphere is dark yet mesmerizing, with luminescent crystals strategically placed around the space, casting an eerie glow.
To the right of the arena, platforms offer players a route to ascend and reach the level's conclusion, situated behind the arena. These platforms can be accessed either through manual climbing or by utilizing a grappling hook. Crystals throughout the cave provide ambient lighting, enhancing the mysterious atmosphere and guiding players through the level.
