This page contains my Level Design projects. In addition to video game projects where I was largely responsible for Level Design, I sometimes carried out short Level Design and Level Art projects in addition to my school projects.
FAVORITE PROJECT / LEVEL DESIGN
SYNAESTHESIA
The project that really pushed my limits was Synaesthesia, our final year study project. As Lead Level Designer, I took on a lot of responsibility, particularly for a puzzle game with physics-based mechanisms.
The main character, Blanche. Relives in her dreams her past traumas during the Second World War. With a weapon, the Chroma Gun, which allows her, depending on the colour, to modify the physics of objects.
I wrote the Level Design intentions to guide the team, and went on to create two of the game's three rooms. I also designed the layout of the HUB.
Whilst staying true to our vision, I ensured that the game's mechanics were enhanced through thoughtful level design.
